TURKEY SHOOT!
"Our computer is going haywire! What is going on!" the shift Senior tech shouted.
"Senior tech, we don't know!" a junior technician called out.
"Call up the garrison!" shouted a panicked tech across the room.
"Shut your mouth and figure out what the problem is!" yelled the Senior tech.
The facility was experimenting with drone technology after the capture of Terra. A massive stockpile of various light mechs had been assembled during the Republic's control of the planet.
Calling up the new Star League garrison for a chaotic mess like this would not bode well for the newly established research center.
Multiple light Battlemechs were already running around the training area. A few thumps emanated through the command center, a shadow hovering over the window. A wasp stared down into the room at the people running in panic. Some techs were looking up, there was no one in the cockpit, just an empty machine looking down at them.
A barrage of small lasers and a medium pulse laser tore through the glass and melted bodies and consoles alike. A flamer followed setting everything left ablaze.
The critical failure and damage triggered the facility alarm system. Turns out the Clan garrison would be alerted soon enough...

Players will field one STOCK Clan Heavy Battlemech of any era. Player pilots are 2/3.
After determining the failsafe needed to deal with these stray light mechs, the Clan Battlemechs were loaded up with a temporary emitter that would shut down any mech they got close enough to. The problem was the light mechs were very fast. Command wants to preserve as many light mechs as possible but the priority is to stop all of them.
Point Scoring:
-1 Point for downing a mech
---Fusion engine/Gyro kill
---Legging a mech
-1 Point for "bagging" the kill
---This is simply moving into the hex of the kill
---Players cannot bag another player's kill
---Kills will self-destruct after 2 full turns of being down
