Dacia and Thracia - Storm at the Empire’s Borders is a Lex Arcana, Second Edition geographic module about two of the darkest provinces of the Danubian limes, and about the mysterious regions beyond: plains roamed by proud and indomitable hordes, wild and boundless forests, and cemeteries hiding terrible blood secrets.

Here, the Roman conquest has brought a faint light to a dark and tumultuous world, trappings of civilization to tame a bloodthirsty and stubborn beast.

War and invading barbarians are still a solid reality, an aspect of everyday life never as present in the rest of the Empire as it is here. Citizens, foederati, and servants live in the shadows of mighty fortifications, echoing with the clashing of steel and glimmering with the faint light of torches that barely keep at bay the dark of the night and the monsters hiding within.
