Italia - Land of Ancient Magic and Dark Intrigue is a geographic module for Lex Arcana, Second Edition. This volume is divided into two sections. The first, which includes Parts I, II, and III, can be read by both players and Demiurges. These pages describe the mysterious, political, and magical aspects of Italia, without providing details on game mechanics or elements of mystery that players will be able to discover by playing. Even when a monster or an NPC is mentioned or described, the description provided reflects what could be learned from the rumors of the place, containing many elements of truth, but also some inaccuracies, or even some errors. The precise description, complete with statistics or game rules, is provided in the second section (Parts IV and V), which is reserved for Demiurges. The last part (Part VI) is also reserved for the Demiurges and contains three adventures set in the province.
