Catan: Expansion - Cities and Knights: Legend of the Conquerors

Legend of the Conquerors is a set of three scenarios that together tell an accompanying story of the invasion of the island of Catan by invaders from the Old World.  Players assume the role of commanders of Catan's force that seek to repel the invasion.  Catan's successful settlement and development, along with having dealt with the barbarian threat has attracted the jealousy of one of the kingdoms of the Old World, who now wishes to end Catan's freedom and independence and claim Catan's wealth for its own!  The invaders have already taken the north of Catan, but the Catanians seek to rally, with help from another nation of the Old World!

Designed for advanced and expert CATAN players, Legend of the Conquerors promises both deep strategy and one of the most intense challenges yet in the CATAN universe.  Components include 24 landscape fields, 9 frame parts, 2 chapter boards, 8 building boards, 16 building markers, 5 trading tiles, 15 number chips, 32 wine chips, 32 amber chips, 52 game pieces, 1 directional die, 38 progress cards, 24 overview cards, 10 zip bags, 1 label sheet, 1 set of instructions.
