Combat is king in many roleplaying games, and 5th Edition is no different. Some players and campaigns emphasize stealth or negotiation or the clever application of magic in a myriad of ways to solve the challenges of adventuring, but the first rule of 5E is very often the same as in any fight club: You’ve got to fight! When you want to make a character that cuts through all the bull and gets right down to fighting, a no-nonsense, rough-and-tumble hero who is always ready for action, you’re naturally going to gravitate to one of two classes: fighteror barbarian. If you want to make those character classes more awesome, cinematic, and fun to play, then Battlemasters&Berserkersis the book for you!
