The thief escaped into a hidden mouse-sized world beyond human reach, carrying with him a relic capable of opening portals between realms. To recover it, the adventurers must follow.

Transformed into mice themselves, the party enters the perilous world of Portal Lake, where rivers become major obstacles, predators rule the skies, and even the shortest journey can become a dangerous expedition.

Their search leads them to Braeford, a frontier settlement struggling to rebuild after devastating rat raids.
