Pounce

Pounce is a fast-paced, travel-friendly party game created by Big Potato Games designed for two or more players ages eight and up. The game consists of eighty double-sided cards featuring a letter on one side and a category on the other. It tests players' reflexes and quick thinking during a typical twenty-minute playtime.

During each round, the dealer places a number of cards equal to the player count in the center of the table with the letter side facing up. One player then flips a card to reveal a category, prompting all players to immediately think of a word that fits the prompt while starting with one of the remaining visible letters. As soon as a player thinks of a valid word, they must shout it out loud and physically grab the corresponding letter card to add it to their personal collection.
