Warmachine: Dusk Fane of Nyrro Unit - Fane Knights

The heavily armored Fane Knights are the cult’s ancient and traditional fighting forces. They were established in the centuries following the foundation of Eversael as a result of the priesthood’s great suspicion of the second Dawnguard, whom they have always seen as faithless upstarts. The Knights' loyalty to Fane has always been without question. Many fought to death in the defense of Eversael and the survivors followed their masters into catacombs beneath the ruins of the city. 

Though the original ranks of Fane Knights suffered some degree of attrition over the centuries, they have been slowly reinforced through the recruitment of newly created eldritch every few decades. While newcomers seldom desire to join the ancient priesthood even when accepted, the military ranks of the Fane offered them some meaningful path to advancement.
