In a vast uncharted sea, shrouded in deep mist, rests Nullona - the Unholy Isle, the Devil’s Retreat.
Nullona is cursed in two ways.
First: a thick rolling mist known as The Haar that ebbs and flows with the moon. Even at the lowest tide it disorients the senses, distorts the landscape, and disrupts the very nature of things. At high tide it can disappear whole villages and reveal terrible secrets.
And second: by the decree of the Underkirk Lairds it is forbidden to die.
Welcome to Wraithlands, a dark fantasy tabletop roleplaying game set on the cursed celtic island of Nullona, a mist-sodden conquered land of giant beasts, desperate villages, haunted bogs and daemonic landowners.
Nullona is ruled by the daemonic Underkirk Lairds from the smog-bitten Mainland. Their infernal law has bound the spirits of nature and the souls of mortals into service in the Underkirk's factories and workhouses. All who die on Nullona are drafted into their eternal service.
All except you: the Wraiths.
Wraiths are still mortal - they toil, sweat, bleed and age - but can be summoned back to life in defiance of Infernal Law. To the people of Nullona they are mercenaries for hire, great warriors of legend, and nasty little freaks.
